Episode Summary
In The Simpsons Season 5, Episode 15, “Deep Space Homer,” NASA sends ordinary Homer into space for good publicity. After rival Barney loses his chance, Homer blasts off, accidentally creates chaos with floating potato chips and ants. He saves the shuttle with a carbon rod and becomes an unlikely hero. It’s a silly, space-themed adventure full of laughs.
